But I would prefer David at Phone ...

Mosaic Legends and world-renowned photographer Mick Rock are proud to announce the release of the Ziggy Stardust eBook App —available exclusively at Apple’s iTunes App store for $2.99 / £1.79.

This interactive electronic book chronicles David Bowie’s incredible twenty month journey via Mick's first live shots of a fledgling Ziggy Stardust in March 1972 and of Ziggy at home at Haddon Hall in April of the same year. It also captures the excitement of the 1972 and 1973 tours of the UK and the USA and the metamorphosis into Aladdin Sane and the onstage 'retirement' of Ziggy in July 1973, right up to the TV special that was The 1980 Floor Show in October 1973...and most points in-between.

This eBook features over six hundred beautiful images from Mick’s photo archive, some of which are being published here for the first time.

“To have the ability to use so many of my images in the eBook is nostalgic and surreal as it captures this magical snapshot of Bowie’s career and personal life,” said Mick Rock.

The eye-popping cover artwork is an interpretation of Rock’s 1973 portrait that combines the patented Photomosaic® technology with Mick’s photo archive to create a stunning visual documentation that traces the entire two-year career of Ziggy Stardust. Double-tap or pinch to zoom into the Photomosaic all the way to the full resolution of a single image. Each interactive photograph contains information such as the location, date and photographer notes.
Users can e-mail each image to a friend or start a blog-like conversation in the Ziggy forum. Written by Steve Stolder, the ebook also features an introduction by Mick Rock. Download Now.
